Lloyd, Your performance was excellent and true to what I wrote. Many times I hear this played but as you know improvisation is part of drum set playing and what I hear is someone improvising on what I wrote. My intention was for the soloist to play what I wrote and improvise on the open solo at the end – you did that and I am pleased to hear how well you did it.
